Fixing Herd-Bound Behavior

Create a Safe Separation Space

  • Place the horse in a secure area away from the herd.
  • Choose a spot where they cannot see herd mates if possible. Partial line of sight can still work.
  • Keep the environment quiet and low pressure so they can begin to settle on their own.
