Have you gone bitless before or do only stick to a bit? What are your reasons why? Tell us your stories!

I have both and I use both. Typically when I am training I go in a bit because I feel like my horse is more attentive. If I am just going for a nice trail ride I will go bitless. Also depends on my horse attitude. If I feel like he is anxious I may round pen for ten minutes and then go in a bit. My goal is to be able to go bitless all the time. But my horse and I are not there. I do have a horse that I can go bitless in anytime. He is just so well mannered and easy to communicate with that he doesn't need a bit.
